Historically, Tremella (like many revered tonic herbs) was cherished primarily by Chinese royalty and the elite, as well as spiritual seekers. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it is prized for its ability to support Lung Yin and hydrate the lungs, making it particularly beneficial for treating dry, non-productive coughs and Lung Yin deficiency. Beyond its respiratory advantages, Tremella has long been associated with beauty and longevity throughout the Orient.
